Welcome to Brick Handbag
We run friendly, women-led self defence classes for women of all shapes and sizes - in the workplace, at home, and at regular courses and classes in and around the East of England.
Most of the women we talked to while setting up Brick Handbag have said that if push came to shove they wouldn't know how to protect themselves - or the people they care about.
Whether you are young or old, unfit or fit, scared or fearless you have the right to be safe and not to feel afraid.
So our aim is simple - to reduce your fear by teaching you memorable and effective tools & techniques which will equip you to protect yourself and those you love.

We offer courses for women and girls aged 13+. Courses are currently planned for central Cambridge but if you're based elsewhere, please do get in touch as we're happy to travel.

Monday 23 May '10 - After lots of hard work we finished the Brick Handbag video just in time for the closing entry for Take One Small Step business competition.
